While moving between trees, there was one gap that was too wide for the baby to cross. In this image, the mother made a bridge for her baby to climb across and continue its journey.
A family of Sumatran elephants stand behind an electric fence at a rescue and rehabilitation center in north Sumatra. Many of the elephants at this center were rescued from being labor animals or poaching victims, however, their current living situation is far from ideal as conservation resources and funding are practically non-existent in this remote region of Sumatra.
