A Nubian guide shines a light at a wall in a subterranean Egyptian tomb at El Kurru
Painted murals inside the subterranean tomb of Kushite King Tantamani (c. 653 B.C.) El Kurru, Sudan.
El Kurru served as a Kushite royal cemetery between 750 - 315 BC during the 'reign of the black pharaohs' when the Kushites conquered and ruled Egypt from Nubia during the 25th Dynasty.
